Every other Friday, I work with the vocalists in Archie Williams High School’s Performance Workshop Program. Sometimes I meet with singers on their own, and other times I join them in the rehearsal room with their bands to help tighten up the overall sound. In our sessions, we focus on vocal and mic technique, stage presence, and how to work professionally and confidently within a band.

Archie's amazing music teacher, Mario Aparicio, teaches Performance Workshop 5th and 7th period and Jazz Ensemble zero period. These classes are wonderful opportunities for vocalists and instrumentalists alike!
Every Tuesday, I get together with a super fun group of students from Archie Williams High School to work on a cappella songs. We learn tight harmonies, lock in rhythms, and figure out how to make everything sound really good as a group. It’s a chill but focused space to sing, grow, and make music with other people who love it.
Auditions are happening at the start of second semester, so if you’re into singing and want to be part of something awesome, come audition!
Skylark Voice Studio had the pleasure of being invited to sing again this year at the annual San Anselmo tree lighting! Select students sang for a huge crowd and then led the town in a cheery rendition of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" as the Big Guy arrive on his sleigh for the season!
It was a wonderful way to kick off the holidays.
Students had the pleasure of performing at the gorgeous Design Table in downtown Fairfax this past summer. The performance featured an incredible range of styles—from pop and jazz to musical theater—and took place surrounded by the scent of blooming flowers and lush, exotic foliage. It was a truly special setting for an unforgettable evening of music.
